RGB dawn lighting
Full-colour LEDs fill the room before the alarm sounds, building gradually so you wake with the light rather than against it. Any hue, any brightness, or off.
Features
Each of these started as something that annoyed us about an ordinary alarm clock. None of them is a bullet point for the sake of it.
Full-colour LEDs fill the room before the alarm sounds, building gradually so you wake with the light rather than against it. Any hue, any brightness, or off.
Any MP3 on the SD card can be an alarm — music, nature sounds, a recording of someone shouting your name. Copy it across and it appears in the list.
Set as many alarms as you need. Each one keeps its own track, its own volume and its own weekday schedule, so weekends can be a different morning entirely.
A 128 × 160 LCD shows the time, the date and which alarms are armed without you having to squint or guess at a seven-segment code.
Turn the brightness down for a dark bedroom, or switch the screen off entirely with one press. The alarms stay armed either way.
The clock reads the time from the network, so it is right the moment you plug it in and stays right after a power cut. Nothing to set, nothing to correct.
Open the clock's address in any browser on the same network and set alarms, colours and volumes from a proper keyboard instead of a knob.
New firmware is found, verified and installed over WiFi without you doing anything. A failed download leaves the clock exactly as it was.
The micro SD card ships in the slot with a few tracks already on it, so the clock works out of the box before you add your own.
Alarms, colours and volumes are written to storage as you set them. Unplug it, move it, plug it back in — everything is where you left it.
Twelve filaments to choose from, including clear, stone-textured and multicolour silk. Nothing is printed until you have picked one.
Made by a small team rather than a factory, and priced like it — a fraction of what the sunrise clocks in the shops cost.
